Associate QA (1+ Years of Proven Experience)

Plan, execute, and validate software tests. Collaborate on design, analyze requirements, and maintain top-tier quality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing activities, encompass test planning, execution, and report for software products.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software products.
  • Document and track defects meticulously, ensuring comprehensive investigation and resolution.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining test cases, scripts, and data sets. Automate test cases wherever possible to improve efficiency and test coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.
  • Analyze user stories, requirements, and specifications for comprehensive test coverage.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Participate in project planning and provide input on timelines, resource allocation, and prioritization of tasks.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to software quality assurance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven 1+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of automation testing and software testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in testing web applications built on the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with design collaboration tools such as Figma.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Documentations Skills


  • Experience with Shell Scripting
  • Knowledge of Databases (eg. MongoDB)
  • Familiarity with the Linux operating system
